Ambassadors of Purple Day

Dear Amalia,

Thank you for applying to the Ambassadors of Purple program. We have reviewed your application and have selected you as a Purple Day Ambassador in Athens, Greece. I am certain your personal experiences and motivation to educate the public will make you a great advocate for Purple Day. You are our very first Ambassador in Greece!!

We are always looking to get local businesses and schools involved by wearing purple on March 26th (though in 2011, Purple Day falls on a Saturday and so we will ask businesses and schools to celebrate a day early on the 25th). In addition, we would also love for you to promote Purple Day in any other ways you'd like. For a list of event ideas, please visit http://purpleday.org/ideas.php. Please feel free to contact us with any ideas or questions you may have. We would be happy to discuss.

Finally, please let us know if there are any local organizations who may want to join Purple Day as Official Partners in your country. To date, we do not yet have an Official Greece Partner, so that would be wonderful if you could help us enlist the help of an organization.
